Ritika Ramtri has been educated in various public and convent schools all over the country, since she is from a Defense background. She went on to do her graduation in Psychology and English from the Jesus and Mary College, New Delhi. Ritika’s educational qualifications include an M.A. (English), B.Ed and M.Ed, Diploma in Personal Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), and Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM). Ritika was trained in Soft Skills by Apex Institute in conjunction with Tack Training, UK. Today she runs The Tiara a Beauty Pageant Training School in Pune.
Ritika is the first Pageant Coach that India has and has given her analysis on Pageant Talk Radio, America’s top Pageant Radio program. In her pageant journey of 16 years Ritika has had several winners at National and International pageants to her credit. . Her first protégée Sandip Soparrkar was Grasim Mr. India Finalist 1997-1998, Gladrags Manhunt Finalist and Young Turk 1999. Today Sandip is a well known Ballroom Dance Expert .Gauhar Khan, Amrita Thapar, Pooja Chopra, Neha Hinge and Prachi Mishra are some of the Miss Indias trained by Ritika. Infact recently crowned Ponds Femina Miss India 2nd Runner Up Zoya Afroz is also a Tiara Girl. In 2012 Ritika made a meaningful breakthrough as a coach as she spent the year training Maitraya Kotecha a hearing impaired boy who had the desire to participate in a beauty pageant. The hardwork paid off as Maitraya won the Gladrags Manhunt 1st Runner up Title in November creating history. He is the only deaf and dumb Beauty Pageant winner in India.
In her spare time Ritika also freelances as a feature writer for the Times of India and was the Editorial Coordinator of Pune Femina edition from 1998-1999Besides Pageant & Corporate Training Ritika also writes feature articles for the Times of India. She was the Editorial Coordinator of Pune Femina edition from 1998-1999 and has also written the script of a film on His Holiness; the Dalai Lama called The Spiritual Journey produced by AS Productions. Ritika also wrote the Ms. Manners column on etiquette for Pune Mirror (Times of India) for a period of three years. She does honorary counseling for the Indian Army, and is a Peer Group Leader for HIV/AIDS awareness and has participated in an International Workshop at Shillong for the same.
