It’s been exactly once year since I set foot into The Tiara Pageant Training Studio, took that bold step and quit my typical monotonous job (that did give me great experience, I cannot deny).
I am so thankful to my family, who believed in me and allowed me to forge ahead and follow my dreams. They’re indeed my life and pillar of support.
So then I entered my first class where I met my wonderful trainer Ritika Ramtri, a great inspiration and motivation. One of the best teachers I have ever had. She took me through the beautiful 40 day journey of basically LIFE. There was so much to grasp from her at every class. Indeed a perfectionist.
I made lovely lifetime friends during my stay, Sneha,Dhanya, Anushree, Swapna, Bharti, Ekta, Rajni ma’am,Rachna ma’am, Tewari ma’am and nothing can take away those memories.
Right from waking up early morning and dressing up together for class, taking a rick to class because walking 10 steps in heels posed to be a task. Ritika ma’am’s fruitful class, heading back to the hostel and doing lunch together. Exercise time and relaxing post workouts.
The evenings were rather chilled as we sat around chatting and discussed what to wear the next day or our photoshoot looks over dinner. Painted our nails, practiced makeup and how can I forget, PRACTICED OUR WALKS(that was the second most important task) because the first was doing our homework, wiz, writing down 25 answers to the given questions.
Even though we all were competing for that 1 crown at the end of our course, we lived like one big happy family and helped each other through thick and thin.
I will never forget those foggy winter mornings when we woke up and left for our shoots, shopping trips, Shindey sir’s hostel, cheat days when we ate chocolate sandwich (sorry Ritika ma’am ♡), diet food, green tea just before bed, and omg we all helped Dhanya color her hair black, fighting for the bathrooms, got shy to practice our walks in bikinis in front of each other, ran for alterations of our evening gowns and the long walks on M.G Road, K.P, Phoenix Mall.
Girls remember our favorite Flavors Restaurant (the sandwich place) and the night we spotted the rat in our flat So many more memories that I can go on and on about.
Keeping it simple, PUNE you were brilliant. Just those 40 days gave me so many memories that I will cherish for a lifetime.
At the end all those giggles, smiles, tears, drama and differences were totally worth it because 2014 was a fantastic year.
LOVE my Tiara Famjam and MISS YOU ALL so very much
